Demonstration in DTLA on Saturday, October 4, 2025

Hundreds of demonstrators answered the call for a march scheduled for Saturday, October 4, in downtown Los Angeles. Labor unions, immigrant advocates, teachers, elected officials, and religious leaders joined the march in support of the community.

People gathered near the base of the Sixth Street Bridge, a well-known landmark in Los Angeles, specifically on the Arts District side, and walked about a mile toward the center of Little Tokyo to end the march in front of the Japanese American National Museum, which is situated at the intersection of First Street and Central Avenue.

The event was organized by a coalition of more than 20 groups, including CHIRLA, UTLA, UNITE HERE Local 11, CARECEN, ACCE, United Farm Workers, and SEIU-United Service Workers. Their demands were to end ICE Raids, condemn the attacks on free speech, and stop family separation.
