Thousands of young Latinos, many of them first-generation and the sons and daughters of undocumented immigrants, convene at the historic Placita Olvera near Downtown Los Angeles on Feb. 2, to Protest Donald Trump’s Mass Deportations, the anti-Mexican sentiment, and the actions against the undocumented Latino community. “I’m here because my grandparents are immigrants and need my support,” said Monica Ramirez. “We should stand up for our people, always be grateful and proud of them, and never forget about that.”
